Profoundly Curious
Hi, my name is Paul Markovich. I am a Life Coach and Personal Strategist.
When I took my first breath back on April 9th, 1965 my pursuit of the truth
began. I have since gained much knowledge and experience to assist those
that are ready to create the life they want to live. This web site will
disseminate that very information about what it takes to create balance,
self acceptance and harmony in your life.
I have always been fascinated in the structure of things, driven to understand the how and why so as to improve efficiency.
Growing up, I would disassemble items such as pocket watches, radios & toys. Science experiments were always taking place. Could I tie a house
fly to a string? Would a kite carry the payload of a frog in a light wind? How slow could a steam engine run? Was it possible to move
things just with the power of the sun? If I didn't understand it I would learn about it until I did.
My first memory to improve my circumstances was at age 13 when I came across an advertisement for "Charles Atlas and the 12 lessons in
Bodybuilding and Strength Course". Mailing in my savings I ordered the course. I found the exercises challenging but performed them
diligently.

But even as the routine faded I had a new realization. I realized I had the power to change my life and the journey of self
creation had begun.
Positive Thinking and Meditation
At 16 I read "The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale". As I practiced eliminating negative thoughts while embracing the
positive, I noticed that I felt happier. But I questioned how could I sustain it? Like the Charles Atlas course that preceded it,
the momentum faded. Was it possible to be consistent? What would it take?
With a need to stay on track I ordered a meditation course when I was 17. Each time I practiced I felt more relaxed. However,
I didn't feel profoundly different about myself or "In Control". That course went back for a refund. But it taught me that there
were other levels of the mind, some more subtle and less obvious. Was I getting closer to some real answers? It was like I had
found the door, but I was still feeling around for the knob.
I continued to read and research but it wasn't until I was 26 that I discovered the Silva Method of Personal Mind Control.
It was at this point, that I learned that I could actually change the outcome of my life through my thoughts. I learned that I
could heal myself, prevent a cold, communicate with others without words and unbelievably at times see the future. This was a
turning point. It was here that meditation became a more active part of my life as I found that knob and pushed that door open.
But it also brought confusion. Did this mean that to have a life the way I wanted I had to coerce my thoughts or be in a meditative
state 24 hours a day. Was there a more efficient way?
